            SOOZ grew up listening to and loving the music from the 20's, 30's and 40's. Her dad, Roy Tietze (a World War II veteran), volunteers at CCM, a day-care rehabilitation center in the Bronx where her Mom had been a patient. A versatile actress/cabaret singer, SOOZ started entertaining there -- and discovered that she has a real affinity for interacting with and entertaining senior citizens and wheelchair-bound patients. She has a good sense of humor and a great deal of patience, along with a warm, easy-going manner that instantly puts her audiences at ease. Her repertoire includes such familiar and beloved composers as Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Frank Loesser and Fats Waller … to name just a few.

            When entertaining at hospitals, nursing homes and other such facilities, SOOZ will specially gear her show to include happy, up-tempo, familiar songs that will bring a smile of recognition to the faces of your patients, and perhaps even get their toes to tapping. She'll also add interesting little bits of trivia about the songs, to further add to the enjoyment of her audience.

             SOOZ works with a very talented accompanist, Sheldon Forrest, who also has a wonderful way with patients -- and the combination of these two talented performers will promise a most delightful entertainment experience.
